The Psychological Health Collaborative PLLC is considered an out-of-network provider and does not accept insurance. Many insurance companies offer out-of-network benefits which provide reimbursement for psychotherapy services. PHC  will provide you with all of the information necessary in order to submit for reimbursement through your insurance provider. As part of our commitment to providing services to the uninsured or underinsured, we hire psychologist permit holders and trainees to see people who do not have the financial resources to pay our normal fees.

It’s easy! Just call: 516-466-2537 or email us. Our office staff will take down your information and then you will speak with our Intake Director. We take great care in making an optimal match between you and one of our therapists. Our intake director will listen to your concerns, explain treatment options, and get you connected with a therapist.

We like to think of ourselves as part of the team working to help your child, along with parents, teachers and any other medical providers. You can describe us like coaches who help solve problems and make sure the team is working well together. We are caring, non-judgmental “feelings doctors” who provide a safe, confidential place to talk about difficult topics. Here are several children’s books written by our own Dr. Conte that provide an excellent introduction to the concept of therapy.

At PHC, we strive to provide efficient and effective treatment. Treatment is highly individualized and treatment length depends on a number of factors. We typically have weekly 45 minute sessions for several months.

We are conveniently located near the LIE, Northern State Parkway and Willis Avenue in Roslyn Heights. Detailed directions are available here.
